Sakura comes from a simple family. Her parents are both wizards, although her father--Japanese--, is a muggleborn, and her mother--British--is pureblood; thus resulting in Sakura being half-blood herself. She doesn't have any siblings, nor does she remember her birth-town, from where her parents moved away when Sakura was still a toddler (Her father refuses to speak of it, but it will be found out to be Konoha, a sort of ninja-village, very antique.). Sakura spent her childhood in Scotland, where it wasn't uncommon for little girls to be strong, which in turn never made Sakura wonder why she could punch so hard. Not that she had to punch anyone.

As a small child, Sakura had no friends, due to her looks (call it racism, or stupid kids), so she grew up craving attention. This turned her into a rather shallow person, which went with the flow, following the bigger groups, and thinking what everyone asked her to think.

This in turn, followed her through her school years, as well. Her first year in school was spent listening to her parents, who had asked of her to be top-notch in her studies, resulting in a Sakura that had read everything, but knew nothing practically. Call her a book-person, but not a street-person. Smart as she may have been back then, she still hadn't managed to find more friends.

Somewhere in the middle of her third year or so, a dubious group of beautiful girls (popular, may we add) approached Sakura with an offer of entering their club. Sakura agreed, not knowing what she was getting herself into. Turned out that the club was actually consisting of 'fangirling' the latest hot boy in the school. Avid for attention, Sakura remained in the club for two years, falling in love with many boys (she thought), and starting to forget her studies. She had friends, she thought, but not for long.

Now in her fifth year, Sakura and the leaders of the club get into a fight, resulting in Sakura's expulsion from the fanclubs. Due to her past attitude towards people (shallow, mean bitch, in short), Sakura finds herself friendless. The only other thing she could do before this, which was studying, has also been going down. So Sakura changed, and changed for the better. She learned friendship, she found real friends, loyal friends, and somewhere in the middle of that, even a very complicated romance with a boy. But as the year ended, she became more focused on her studies, acing her OWLS, and becoming something of a hermit. At the beginning of her 6th year in Hogwarts, she received a letter of admittance into the training programme for Unspeakable (her goal achieved), and left Hogwarts for a short period. After several months during which no news was heard of her, Sakura returned to Hogwarts to continue her education. Of her time in the Department of Mysteries, she has been made to swear never to reveal anything. Under life penace and whatnot.

During her time in training, few things changed about Sakura: she's still the same caring, helpful girl that places her friends first; she's still a convinced workaholic, but at least now she knows when to take a tea break; she's still inhumanly strong, if not a bit stronger, but she has much more patience about it, and doesn't let her temper get the best of her (unless it's deserved); she still trains daily, now even moreso, since she needs to be prepared for the day she graduates Hogwarts (and ends up integrated in the Unspeakables department). She takes a lot more in falling in love, even though she still will give all her own for the other person. She's still the mediator, the referee, and the rational one that tries to stop the fight from happening. She's a bit more quiet, and a lot more vicious when it comes to protecting her friends.

Now at 16 years of age, Sakura returns, a bit late into the year, to Hogwarts, ready to jump deep into her 6th year. She's aware that it will take her some time to catch up with everything, but as always, she is confident that she can do it. Feet placed firmly on the ground, Sakura's ready to take the world down. Or...you know. Just the school.

Neji Hyuuga: Classmate, Housemate, and best friend in Ravenclaw. Neji's the person that gets Sakura's moods. They're more or less inseparable, and she cares for him very much. Has helped in his frustrated romances. Has scolded him when sick. Has even introduced him to the family~!
Tatsuki Arisawa: Best friend, lost-sister-she-never-had. Tatsuki's probably among the very, VERY few girls Sakura feels comfortable around. They have a long history together, and the bonds are tightly wrapped.
Rukia Kuchiki: Dormmate, classmate, housemate. Rukia, in Sakura's opinion, kicks ass. She enjoys sparring together, and rooming together, and anything else.
Shin Sawada: [Eee~boyfriend desu~♥! Official as of Saturday, 9th of February, 2008.] Sakura has enjoyed Shin's company ever since they started their first conversation. In his school days he had that detached aura around him, yet it was fascinating how he still managed to have a group of students follow his every word. Curious, Sakura approached. After her three-months' leave, she was thrilled to see he'd returned to Hogwarts as a TA, and of course, continued her conversations with him. Her attraction began after Christmas, and it's been growing ever since. They've began a relationship, which amuses and thrills her at the same time, because with him she's learning what dates, and receiving flowers for the first time is really like! Of course, their status of staff/student forces them to keep it discreet at best. [Bringing diabetes to the world, one thread at a time!]
Itachi Uchiha: Ex-boyfriend. Sakura still enjoys speaking to him, as their break-up had been on mutual terms. Part of her will still care for the man, but never in the same way as when they'd been together.
Gai Maito: Still insane, still youthful, still nice. Sakura appreciates him, and he amuses her all the time.
Bob Bainbridge: Professor Bainbridge is among her favourite professors.
Marik Ishtar: Professor Ishtar not only is her favourite professor, but also her friend, and she is very pleased about that.
